Anaerobic Septic Tank

Installation

Samaan Grove’s small-bore sewer system efficiently transports and treats liquids, necessitating an anaerobic septic tank for your property’s construction. This choice aligns with the environmentally friendly approach to wastewater treatment, as these small-bore sewer collection systems are part of the larger Golden Grove Waste Stabilization Ponds. By utilising natural processes, this solution is sustainable and green, providing a reliable and eco-conscious option.

As part of this system, all solids remain with access points that allow periodic removal by the appropriate body—the Water & Sewerage Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (WASA) through their designated lift stations and onward disposal to the Golden Grove Waste Stabilization Ponds.

Your anaerobic septic tank should be developed according to the photo provided below, along with the following guidelines, to ensure that it meets both the Association’s and WASA’s guidelines.

  • Allowance for Anaerobic tank inspection by a Samaan Grove Community Association or a WASA representative.
  • Adequate provisions for odour control must form part of the design and construction.
